Parents and Students,We are already into the middle of July! This summer is flying by us. I want to remind you of a few things coming up for the next few weeks. Our canoe trip will be this weekend. I have had a great response from our youth signing up so we will be taking the bus and the van. If you are interested in going let me or Mrs. Cyndi Strickland know it. I will be calling the canoe rental place tomorrow to give them our estimated numbers. If you did not go to youth camp with us I need you to complete a medical release form and give it to me by Saturday. It will need to be notarized too. I will have these forms at our youth worship service if you need one. Also, Mrs. Cyndi Strickland has this form on file in the church office so you can contact her for one as well.
There will be a back 2 school fellowship for 7th grade - college age students at the home of Matthew & Tina Payne, August 2nd. It will be from 5:30pm-9:00pm. They will be providing grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, and all the trimmings. There will also be swimming, volleyball, basketball, and a bonfire too! If you don't know where they live you can contact me or Andrew Payne for directions. It will be a blast and who can turn down a little grilled meat and some roasted marsh-mellows anyway?!!
