Parents and Students, Now that February is here I want to tell you about something new for our ministry. Feb. 26-28 I will be taking our College and Career group on a weekend retreat. We will be going to Paoli Peaks, Indiana for a little skiing/snowboarding action. It should be a blast and I look forward to spending time with this special group of young adults.
We will be leaving the church facilities at 11:30am that Friday and arriving home that Sunday night by 8:00pm. We are staying in the Comfort Suites in French Lick, Indiana. The cost will be $125.00 (not including meals)I will need a $50 deposit on Feb 7th. (you can pay the total then if you want). I have been promoting this in Sunday School for several weeks.
Some of the funniest times I have ever had in my life have been on College and Career retreats. God used those trips in a mighty way to form strong friendships that I have to this day. God also moved in the hearts and lives of friends who eventually pursued mission work in foreign lands and youth ministry throughout the Southeast region of the U.S. You never know what God may do in a retreat environment.
