Parents and Students,It has been way too long since my last post. I have recently set up a Facebook page for the student ministry. Go to "GC Student Ministries" and become a fan. There will be videos of camp, youth ministry events, and pictures. Check it out. It will be a great way to keep up with what's going on with our students.
Our recent scavenger hunt was a blast and I am still getting pictures and videos from all the teams involved. I want to say a big "THANK YOU" to the ladies that provided the cakes and the "Grill Team" for preparing all the hamburgers and hotdogs. It was such a good time and everyone enjoyed it.
We also had a youth night the following Sunday. The praise team lead the congregation through a few songs and the drama team did a skit called "Driving Nails." It was an awesome time and I am so proud of all the students who were involved. Our church family was real supportive and encouraged our students to keep it up. It means a lot to me and I know it means a lot to our students.
Camp is approaching us fast! In case you are not up-to-date on your camp deposits I want to encourage you to pay soon. It's important that I have all the money turned in as soon as possible. Also, I have included links to the two forms you need to complete and turn in to me. You can look to the top left corner of this site for the direct links. Open the files, print them out, and return them to me. Along with these links I have included a link to a file that will help you know what to pack for camp and what NOT to pack for camp.
