Mission Trip to Jackson, MS

Parents and Students,
The month of July has been packed with student activities. This past Saturday night we loaded up one of our vans and went to the MS Baptist Youth Night in Tupelo. Dave Rhodes was the speaker and Aaron Keyes was the music leader. It was a GREAT time and the students really enjoyed it. I was thankful for the time of refreshing in Lord and thankful to see so many students worshiping Jesus. It was a fun and fruitful time.

This coming weekend will be our mission trip to Jackson, MS to work alongside NorthRidge Church. NorthRidge is a new church plant in the Ridgeland area that is only a few months old. I look forward to our group working alongside this new and fresh faith community. Our students are excited about putting "feet to their faith" and we have a great group signed up. Please look over the information below and pray for us as we are serving this weekend.

WHEN? July 23 - July 25, 2010
(We will leave our facilities at 1:00 pm on July 23rd and
arrive home around 6:00 pm July 25th).
WHERE? North Ridge Church - Jackson, MS
WHO's GOING? Our team is made up of 9th graders to Adults
COST? $50 (plus food)
ACCOMMODATIONS: Hyatt Place (in the Ridgeland area)
DESCRIPTION? We will be assisting the church with servant evangelism
activities. These might include:
• Handing out flyers, bottled water, or towelettes with
the church info on them at the soccer and baseball
fields.
• Placing door hangers on as many houses as possible
• Assist with a block party at an apartment complex.
