Theology: The Importance of Knowing God
When we talk about knowledge of God, we’re talking about _______________.(theology)
Joshua Harris stated theology as, “simply put, theology is the study of the ___________ (nature) of God – who He is & how He thinks & acts.”
We’re all _____________ (theologians). The question is whether what we know about God is _________ (true).
We’re either building our lives on the reality of what God is truly like and what he’s about, or we’re basing our lives on our own _______________ (imagination) & __________________ (misconceptions).
I. The ________________ (proclamation)to the people.
Jeremiah calls the people to ___________ (repent), showing that they are in grave ____________ (danger) but that they can still avert it.
Because of the lives which the people of Judah are living, their confidence as they stand before God has very poor ___________________ (foundation).
Like a prosecuting attorney in court, the Lord accused the people of ______________ ___________ (misplaced trust) and _____________ _____________.(misguided behavior)

and that I delight in these things.
